It has been some time since I’ve updated my blog. Thanks for all the comments =)
Well, we have just finished a 1.5 days retreat yesterday and the theme was on “Building church as a team”. We had 13 people in all and it was like a “mini” camp. Julio helped us secured a wonderful place for the retreat. It was serene, huge and most importantly… free =P
We started the day with breakfast followed by a sharing from David. After which, we had barbeque. Hmm… i was telling Pui See that this can never happen in S’pore. Fancy barbequing at 1pm under the hot sun! Although it’s pretty hot here, it’s not humid.
So after the barbeque, we had some experience learning activities.
Faith walk

Hmm… they looked like they were being tortured… That was the first time they went through such activities… pretty sporting of them to comply…hehee… i have one video on the “faith jump” but i have difficulties uploading it… will try again later..
After the activities, we had a wild time with the water bombs. We started innocently by throwing some harmless water bombs then someone started splashing water with a 1.5 liter coke bottle! And the battle began! It was a “refreshing” time under the hot sun.
Puisee shared a teaching on “Salt & light”. I thought that she expounded on the passage very well and after that, we ate again. We had camp fire at night and a few of us slept in a tent. I realised that i didnt take sufficient pictures… anyway, here’s a blur one from the camp fire
Pray with us for Hope Chile that together with the locals, we will build a strong & biblical church =)
