Its really scary… its 2008!!!! Time really flies…
This is my first new year here. Pretty exciting. We went to valparaiso for the countdown with 4 men
We went to the beach and after that to another place. It was “flooded” with people. We sat in the middle of the crowd and had our dinner… pretty interesting.
5,4,3,2,1 FELIZ AÑO!
The fireworks were wonderful… first time, upclose and personal..
After the fireworks, it was party time.. loud music, dancing and pple everywhere.
This has been a great experience for me and my first time celebrating new year overseas. It just struck me that 2007 has past. Pretty daunting… gosh… I’m aging =P
This year, I am really grateful to God for so many things in my life. Random…

God helping me to convince my parents to let me come to Chile and He taking good care of them. I’ve just spoken to my parents and they are doing well and my sister is giving birth in April. She lives in Perth, I’ll be visiting her when I return to Singapore. My parents are now beaming with joy with the arrival of their grandson =) I am excited to see my nephew too!

God giving me to much assurances and providing for me to come to Chile. I’ve recalled the tears and struggles I had but God never fails to encourage me. “God will never leave me nor forsake me” – I’ve experienced so much of this truth here.

My spiritual family in Spore. What more can i say? I am grateful for your support, taking the extra mile to ask me how I am, send me stuffs and remembering me despite me being in such a faraway land.

My spiritual family here. Dave, Puisee and Cindy(in Spore now). Somehow or another, I have gotten used to them being part of my life =) They are like my parents (at times), friends and colaborers in Christ. Life here is made so much easier becos of them. Over here, i got to befriend the Chileans too. I’m so glad that they can embrace us as their friends and family in Christ as well. I’m growing fond of this place and the pple.

Thank God for providing me a job in which i can get to meet many different pple.
